Mang Bayani is a small contract grower from Tarlac.
Beginner grower, trained by Dr. Danny Milla.
He started with 400 heads still alive, with only the 2% allowance of 8 heads are the only mortalities.
21 day olds but weighing well at 200 grams each!
I stand corrected! I was informed by Dr. Danny Milla that the actual weights of the free range chicks are not 200 grams but 375 grams each!
Uniformity at 90%!

we are supplementing with pesticide-free, in-farm vegetables and fruits just like reina helena farm of dr. milla.
we are following his protocol for grow-out.

average weight: 1303g
mortality: 9/408
FCR: 2.01
still on the same protocol.
last of the batch harvested last easter. 370 sold. the others were too yummy to resist. haha. average dressed weight= 1200g (tailored to market demand). FCR=2.0 based on feed consumption only not including fresh fruits and vegetables.
compared to dr hernandez's farm where the harvest was 196/200, ave. dressed weight of 1.9 kilos (again tailored to his market's demand), FCR=2.0 not including vegetables and fruits.
