Governor D.V. Savellano invites Dr. Erwin Cruz for a seminar on Free range chicken production by FARMERS CHOICE!

The Good Governor of Ilocos sur, Governor D.V. Savellano invited Dr Erwin Cruz to give a clear and very educational seminar on Free range chicken production last February 26, 2009. This was held in San Juan, Ilocos Sur together with a lot of farmers and Provincial veterinary officers led by the good Veterinary Doctor, Dr. Cesar Soller, Dr. Joey Bragado, Dra. Flor and the other good personnel of the Provincial office involved in the project of the Governor.

This is a turning point for the project since they are more focused on producing REAL Quality Free range chicken meat,thru Farmers' Choice!

He started with 400 heads still alive, with only the 2% allowance of 8 heads are the only mortalities.

I stand corrected! I was informed by Dr. Danny Milla that the actual weights of the free range chicks are not 200 grams but 375 grams each!

February 19 to 20, 2009 The group of Bounty Fresh foods headed by Atty.Kenneth Cheng CEO and Mr. Arnold Alcaraz, VP for Breeding operations and Dr. Erwin Cruz, inspected the Grimaud / Hubbard colored parent stocks in Tumauini, Isabela. The Quality of the breeders attest the continuous quality of the F1 offsprings that we will get from both, the breeder farmers from the Happy Famers "the farmers choice! and Bounty Fresh breeders!

Atty. Kenneth Cheng has shown Dr. Erwin Cruz that Bounty Fresh foods is very much focused on the highest quality in their poultry produce.

Atty. Cheng also added that they will focus on Isabela (particularly in Santiago, Isabela), Tuguegarao and the rest of Ilocos region in the distribution of colored chicks.

Formal Signing between Farmers' Choice and Bounty Fresh Foods for the Colored chicken production and Distribution

The collaboration of technical and distribution of CERTIFIED F1 COLORED CHICKEN from GRIMAUD / HUBBARD colored parent stocks was formally established between Mr. Kenneth Cheng of Bounty Fresh Foods Inc. and Dr. Erwin Cruz of Farmer's Choice last January 29, 2009.

You can expect more cooperation in terms of colored day old chick sales and distribution by late March or April.

We expect to market our quality day old chicks first in Regions 1 and 2 by the second quarter of the this year at a very good price! Then proceed to the rest of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

"Hi, these are just random shots on the batch I harvested last Jan 15. I got these birds Nov 28. I harvested Jan 18 with an average dressed weight of 1.13kg. No head, no feet. Batch of 500 birds. 491 survived so that's 98.2% (491/500) or more accurately 96.46% (491/509)"
